The ODUNA Community Service Efforts.

The ODUNA Health Mission is a registered not for profit organization registered in Nigeria by her parent organization, the Offa Descendants Union of North America, who is equally registered in the United States of America as a not-for-profit organization (501 ©3). Our organization provides many social programs to support Offa and neighboring communities. 

Our yearly free ODUNA medical mission provides free healthcare services to the people of Offa and the surrounding communities. ODUNA fund its activities mainly through donation from its members and support from individuals and many non-profit organizations

ODUNA conducts the free medical mission in collaboration with University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) Ilorin, Nigeria Medical Association Kwara State Branch, Sakinah Medical Outreach, and with support from MAP International, Americares, Brothers Brother, Kingsway Charities, Offa Descendant Union, Oyawoye Foundation, RNZ Foundation and many philanthropic individuals in Nigeria.

During each medical mission, ODUNA screen about three thousand people yearly for chronic health conditions like Diabetes, Hypertension, Arthritis, and provides free General Surgery, cataract surgeries, Dental services, Physical therapy, Chiropractic services, free eyeglasses and free medications.

In line with its overall goal of promoting collaboration between our people in Nigeria and USA, ODUNA in Partnership with University of Ilorin Faculty of Clinical sciences invited Dr. Yaron Raducanu, a Board-certified Podiatrist at Temple University in New Jersey, USA to deliver a public lecture on current management of Diabetic foot. This lecture is the first in a series of such lectures that ODUNA plans to sponsor. We appreciate the cooperation of University of Ilorin and Dr. Yaron Raducanu for making this lecture possible.
