We’re About Making a Difference

ODUNA HEALTH MISSION is a not-for-profit and non-political organization that is duly registered in Nigeria, and recognized by the FIRS as a not-for-profit organization, to provide community support services and public health interventions on a humanitarian basis. ODUNA Health Mission is an offspring of the parent organization The Offa Descendants Union of North America who is also duly registered in the United States of America as a 501© (3) non-profit philanthropic organization duly recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service. ODUNA Health Mission is set up to promote the objectives of her parent organization legitimately in Nigeria. One of the objectives of the organization is to contribute to the development of the Offa community and its environs in Nigeria. Another objective of the organization is to assist in providing community health support by organizing free health missions at Offa, Kwara State, and its environs, and subsequently expand to other communities in Nigeria as our resources improve through our donor support groups.

Our History

ODUNA Health Mission became registered in Nigeria in 2024 to further the cause of her parent organization, Offa Descendants Union of North America (ODUNA) which was established in the United States of America in 2001 as a 501 © (3) not-for-profit association of Indigent Offa citizen who resides across several states in America. The mission and vision of ODUNA are to support her members, Offa indigenes in the USA towards settling down in foreign lands, and their integration in foreign land. And also, to give back to their native community of Offa in areas that need further supportive efforts to ameliorate the deficiencies that are prevalent within the Offa community and its environs, like the issues of access to available and affordable health care services which requires collaborative efforts and goodwill of organizations like ODUNA.

This became the basis for organizing our annual Medical Mission in Offa since 2014, and the provision of scholarship support to struggling and academically sound indigent students in community secondary schools in Offa. In addition, ODUNA has at various times provided financial support to disaster victims in Offa. During the unfortunate incidents of the COVID-19 pandemic, ODUNA provided cash support to artisans, groups of people with disabilities, and widows within and around Offa Community.
ODUNA, in collaborative efforts with its members, is sponsoring over 400 beneficiaries in the Kwara Care Health Insurance Scheme.
