Dr. Raducanu was born in Israel, and grew up in Montreal, Quebec,
Canada. He moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1995 to study Podiatry at the
Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he was awarded an
Academic Scholarship Award in his senior year. He then went on to
complete an internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA,
after which he spent two years in Houston, TX for a Podiatric Surgical
residency.
Dr. Raducanu has practiced in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, has
lectured internationally over his twenty plus year career, and has been very
active with academics, teaching both students and residents in the
classroom and in the operating room. Most recently, he served as the
Research Chair for the Podiatric Surgical Residency at Jefferson University
Hospital South Jersey. He has served as a Board of Trustees Member for
the New Jersey Podiatric Medicine Society, and is currently on the Board of
Directors of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. For the first ten
years of practice, he was the President of American College of Foot and
Ankle Pediatrics, and is one of the few Podiatrists nationally that
specializes in pediatric foot and ankle deformity care and management.
Dr. Raducanu is well published, including three journal articles in peer
reviewed podiatry journals, Parents magazine, and has been spotlighted
several times over the years by the American Podiatric Medical Association
for his excellence. The most recent spotlight was an article about his recent
trip to Nigeria with ODUNA in January of 2024.
At home, Dr. Raducanu spends his free time with his wife of twenty six
years, and their three children. He enjoys many hobbies including playing
the guitar, music production, surfing and flying radio controlled helicopters.
He’s also become an avid Pickle Ball player! He is humbled and honored to
participate in ODUNA’s mission both domestically and internationally.
